The
Municipal Band shared the stage with the St. Cloud State Campus Band

Ritsche Auditorium in Stewart Hall. The concert also included the
Minnesota Premier of "Love
Conquers All Killer Robots" by composer Chris Holt. Prior
to the concert, the composer also took time to talk with the musicians
about his composition.
At the end of the concert both bands combined together to perform March America and
then the Virginia Tech Alma Mater.
"Around the World in
One Concert"
The
Paramount Theatre was home to our
concert performance on Monday, November 13th, 2006 which included music
from all around the world including Israel, Belgium, China, England,
Germany, and all points in between.
Special thanks to all of the staff at the Paramount Theatre for doing
such a great job both recording and running the lights for the concert.

Barden
Park Fountain Inauguration
Barden
Park’s Sesquicentennial Fountain was dedicated on
Thursday, June 29, 2006 in celebration of Barden (Central)
Park’s 150th Anniversary (October 13, 1855). Our new fountain
is a replica of Barden Park’s original fountain and was
reproduced by Robinson Iron, in Alexander City, Alabama, which also
produced the Clemen’s Garden fountains.
Mayor Dave
Kleis and State Representative
Larry Haws were there for the dedication in addtion to vintage music
provided by the St. Cloud Municipal Band. Congratulations to everyone
who made such a lasting contribution to Barden Park and the St. Cloud
community.
